Jack Smith is back in contention for AFC Wimbledon's home clash with Luton on Saturday.
The former Millwall defender has been out since November with a thigh injury but completed 90 minutes for the Dons' reserves in their 4-1 win over Portsmouth on Tuesday evening. However, Smith knows he faces a battle to reclaim his place at left-back with Callum Kennedy having impressed in his absence. "When you get injured someone is always looking to take your place and that's what football is all about," he told the club website. "Callum had to be patient earlier in the season because he was not playing many games until I got injured. Then he got his chance and he has taken it. Now it's down to me to try and get back into the team."
