Chesterfield midfielder Ollie Banks has been recalled from his loan spell at League Two side Northampton.
The 22-year-old joined the Cobblers towards the end of November and was due to stay at Sixfields until January 3, 2015. But a spate of injuries and suspensions has seen the Spireites bring Banks back to the Proact Stadium at the earliest possible opportunity. He made three appearances, all of them starts, for Northampton during his stay. Banks will now be added to the Chesterfield squad for their League One fixture at home to Peterborough on Boxing Day.
