Scunthorpe defender Niall Canavan has agreed a new two-year extension to his current deal with the newly-promoted club.
The 23-year-old Iron youth product signed professional papers with the club in 2009 and has since made more than 100 appearances, scoring 12 goals. The League One club confirmed the news via their official Twitter account and Canavan joins winger Terry Hawkridge and defender David Mirfin in agreeing new contracts this week at Glanford Park.
