Accrington captain Luke Joyce has signed a new two-year contract at the Crown Ground.
The 25-year-old former Wigan man is closing in on 200 appearances for the club after missing just five league matches in the last two seasons. And Joyce is delighted that his future is resolved and he can focus on the forthcoming campaign. "It's an uncertain time for a lot of footballers at this time of the season and to get it sorted now is great," he told the club's official website. "I've just moved house, my wife's pregnant and expecting in August so it's fantastic to be able to get it all done and dusted and for two years. "It's a relief and nice to be able to relax a bit now and look forward to the new season."
