Dedryck Boyata insists he is committed to Celtic but is "not supposed to talk" about his previous issues with the club.
The defender endured a difficult start to the season, when he refused to play for the club after Celtic turned down offers from interested clubs.
The 27-year-old's relationship with manager Brendan Rodgers appeared to be strained, with former player Andy Walker urging Celtic to sell Boyata amid claims his team-mates could not trust him.
Boyata has since drawn a line under the events and returned to play for the club once more, scoring on his return in a 1-0 victory over Hamilton.
And the former Manchester City defender, currently on international duty with Belgium, said he has put the episode behind him.
"Right now I'm in a position where I'm not supposed to say anything about what happened in the past," he said.
"But I am fully committed with the team and I'm trying to give as much as I can whenever I'm on the pitch. I'm a Celtic player and I'm very happy to be a Celtic player. Whatever happens next, happens next.
"What happened in the past is in the past and I'm looking forward to getting back to where we were the last three seasons.
"I'm working hard for it and hopefully we'll get back where we're supposed to be."
