    Alfie May's first-half double saw the Blues close to within a point of second-placed Wrexham and Chris Davies' side have two games in hand on their Welsh rivakls.

    May struck twice in nine minutes as third-placed Birmingham cut the gap on leaders Wycombe to three points.

    Blackpool came from behind to win 2-1 at Shrewsbury and send the Shropshire side to the bottom of the table.

    Mal Benning scored from his own half after four minutes as his free-kick bounced over goalkeeper Harry Tyrer and into an empty net.
