Lewis Hamilton claimed his third-straight British Grand Prix victory with a faultless race at Silverstone.
The result moves him four points behind championship leader and Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg pending a post-race investigation by race stewards.
After the race started behind the Safety Car, Hamilton quickly built up a five-second lead and showed poise and nerve to simply maintain his advantage, showing the kind of faultless form he has displayed all weekend.
"I don't know if you can be as happy as me," said Hamilton. "It's never clean sailing which is what makes this spectacular - that is why the British Grand Prix is the best grand prix we have."
