Lewis Hamilton tipped to continue winning run in Russian GP

The Sky F1 pundit gives his top three tips for the Russian GP

Sky Sports F1 analyst Johnny Herbert has cast his eye over the Sky Bet odds for this weekend's Russian GP.

Lewis Hamilton increased his championship lead over Nico Rosberg to 48 points with his eighth win of the season a fortnight ago in Japan and now returns to a Sochi circuit where he claimed the inaugural victory ahead of his team-mate 12 months ago.

After successfully tipping Hamilton and Mercedes to return to the top step of the podium at Suzuka after Ferrari's victory in Singapore, Herbert is expecting the reigning title winner to keep his winning run going this weekend. But, elsewhere in the betting, who is the three-time F1 race winner tipping for points and Sunday's fastest lap?

1. Race Winner - Lewis Hamilton - 1/2

"Who else? Niki Lauda might fear a repeat of Singapore, but despite Pirelli changing to soft and supersoft tyres here, such was Mercedes' dominance last year I don't see that being overturned 12 months on. And I don't see Nico Rosberg coming close to his team-mate either, which leaves Lewis to pick up win number 42."

2. Points Finish - Romain Grosjean - Evens

"Three points finishes in the last five races and Q3 at each of those GPs. He's off to Haas next season, but in the meantime Romain will be wanting to show Lotus what they'll be missing."

3. Fastest Lap - Valtteri Bottas 14-1

"Interesting one this. Valtteri set the fastest lap last year (the only one of his career) and in the dry his Williams should be mighty quick on the straights. Worth a look, especially if he qualifies well again."
