Jules Bianchi’s horrific accident in the Japanese GP has naturally left Formula 1 in a state of shock and overshadowed all other events from last weekend at Suzuka.
It’s therefore a sombre edition of F1 Midweek Report this week with Anna Woolhouse joined by F1 Racing magazine columnist Peter Windsor and former Marussia engineer Mark Hutcheson.
The talking points:
- Reaction to Bianchi’s accident.
- Whether more can - and should - be done to improve cockpit safety.
- Lewis Hamilton’s Suzuka win.
- Sebastian Vettel’s decision to leave Red Bull – and where that leaves Fernando Alonso.
