Nico Rosberg was repeatedly asked in Wednesday's drivers’ press conference if he had spoken with Lewis Hamilton about their collision at the Spanish Grand Prix.
The German is normally open with the media but this time avoided the direct questions as best he could.
Here is the transcript of his exchange with journalists below, while you can watch the best of the exchanges above...
Jonathan McEvoy (Daily Mail): Have you, a) spoken to Lewis since the race to discuss the events of Spain, and b) when you get out to race this week, will there be, from you, an obligation to race full out, not giving Lewis an inch, and if you need to shut the door on Lewis again, you would do that?
Rosberg: "If we have spoken or not, as always, that needs to be kept internal. What I can say is that between the two of us, it is a thing of the past now. We are moving on with everything and the relationship is the same as before. Nothing has changed.
"Going out on track, I'm not going to be thinking about Barcelona. I'm going to take the same approach as always: flat out and do what is necessary to win this grand prix, which is what I have come here to do."
Byron Young (Daily Mirror): What is the big secret about whether you and Lewis have talked? The fact that you guys have just talked - that is open information, isn't it?
Rosberg: "Of course, I will try to give you as much information as I can because you are writing for all of our supporters out there to have a good time and read some cool stuff, but there comes a point where, at the same time, we are trying to keep a good spirit in the team and win lots of races.
"There is a balance and some things are better not to share. I didn't say it was a no comment; I just said it's better to keep it internal, that part, and then I tried to elaborate on everything else."
McEvoy: I don't understand the reluctance to answer that. We are not delving, I don't think, too deeply into stuff that normally would be off limits. I was wondering whether you are under instruction, or whether you have had orders from above not to discuss that?
Rosberg: "As you know, I always try and answer your questions, and yes, of course, we have spoken together, and as a team also. How do we approach these happenings, and everything?
"With respect to this exact answer, there have been no discussions at all and I just feel like not discussing that, and that's it. It's pretty simple."
