Watch how the 2017 F1 cars fared on the last day of the first test, as they took to the track in Barcelona in artificially made wet conditions.

Winter Testing has already served up its fair share of spins and crashes, and drivers had to deal with more hazardous conditions on Day Four.

After three days in the warm and dry - in which their new cars have flexed their muscles - Formula 1's elite were treated to their first taste of a 2017 wet-weather run as Test One drew to a close

The Barcelona track was artificially soaked by special tanker trucks before the morning and afternoon sessions to simulate the conditions, so Pirelli could test their wet and intermediate tyres.

Ferrari fastest in wet-dry test

Ferrari and Red Bull both impressed in Mercedes' absence in the morning, with the world champions in the garage with an electronics issue. Valtteri Bottas was their only driver for the day as Lewis Hamilton sat out.

These new F1 cars were certainly slipping and sliding in the wet, and you can watch footage of them by clicking play on the video above.
