Jenson Button sat down with Sky Sports News HQ's Craig Slater for a jovial, yet candid, chat ahead of his 17th British Grand Prix.
The country's most experienced-ever F1 driver is out of contract at McLaren at the end of the year and laid out his personal terms for staying in the sport for at least another season.
And, with the situation at Mercedes dominating the agenda in the build-up to Silverstone, Jenson explains why he feels it would have been an own goal from the world champions to impose team orders.
