Red-hot Gerwyn Price was just millimetres from darting perfection as the Premier League roadshow hit Exeter in week four on Thursday night.
Price continued his brilliant form after winning both Players Championship events in Barnsley last weekend and the latest moment of magic came in the sixth leg of his contest against Contender Luke Humphries at the Westpoint Arena.
He hit a 180, followed by a 177, and ended with two treble 20s before narrowly missing double 12 for what would have been a stunning leg.
He returned to sink double 12 for a 10-dart hold, but ultimately had to settle for a point in a 6-6 draw against the World Championship quarter-finalist.
