Look back at Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor’s first World Matchplay title win from 1995.
Taylor has dominated the Blackpool tournament, claiming 16 championships after his final triumph.
His trophy cabinet is jam-packed but includes the 1995 Matchplay title, owing to a victory over Dennis Priestly in the final, which you can recap in the video at the top of this page.
Remembering the '95 final is a reminder of how far darts has come in the subsequent two decades, and also a reminder of how special the Winter Gardens venue is.
