Jason Kenny will contest the team sprint at this month's British National Track Championships in Manchester.

The six-time Olympic champion returned to competitive action last week, having taken a prolonged break from cycling following the Rio Olympics.

Kenny, 29, will team up with Phil Hindes, as he continues his comeback ahead of a likely fourth Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020.

Other Olympians taking part are Callum Skinner, who will race in the kilo, as will two-time pursuit champion Steven Burke.

Meanwhile, Olympic and world champion Katie Archibald faces a busy few days, as she defends the three titles she won at last year's championships.

Archibald will also compete in the keirin, in which she finished runner-up 12 months ago, while adding the sprint for good measure.

Another Rio gold medallist, Elinor Barker, will join Archibald for the scratch and points races.
