Sir Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish moved into the lead of the Ghent Six Day on the fourth night of racing.
The pair are attempting to win the event for the first time together in what is expected to be Wiggins' final race before retirement.
Teams of two compete in a series of races for six consecutive nights, with the winners being the pair who amass the most laps and points over the course of the week.
Wiggins and Cavendish had been third at the halfway stage but gained a lap on their rivals on the way to winning Friday's Madison. They also triumphed in the team elimination race.
They now have 285 points and are a lap ahead of second-placed Kenny De Ketele and Moreno De Pauw, who have 295 points.
Elia Viviani and Iljo Keisse are also lap down in third, with 287 points.
