Sam Billings says he feels as at home in the Delhi Daredevils dressing room as he does with England and at Kent

England batsman Sam Billings is in Delhi - but feels just at home as he does in Kent.

The 24-year-old is playing his maiden season in the IPL with Delhi Daredevils, starring on his debut for the franchise with an eye-catching 54 from 34 deliveries against Kolkata Knight Riders and then blasting 24 from 15 balls and taking two catches versus Rising Pune Supergiants.

Billings told Sky Sports' Mark Butcher that the atmosphere created in the camp by Delhi coach Paddy Upton and mentor Rahul Dravid reminds him of the England and Kent set-ups.

Runs, switch-hits, catches... Michael Lumb and Dominic Cork reflect on an eventful day for Delhi's Sam Billings against Pune in the IPL.

"It's a very familiar environment and Paddy [Upton] and [Rahul] Dravid have done a remarkable job to merge things so quickly," said Billings, whose side are among the play-off chasers in the IPL.

"We have the exuberance of youth and, like the England squad, a lot of depth. There are loads of blokes sitting on the bench who can do as good a job as the starting XI."
