IPL 2016: Jerome Taylor replaces Lasith Malinga at Mumbai Indians

​West Indies fast bowler Jerome Taylor has signed for IPL side Mumbai Indians.

The 31-year-old will replace Lasith Malinga, who has been ruled out of the competition with with a knee injury.

Taylor will join the Ricky Ponting-coached side for the rest of the Twenty20 tournament after the required paperwork was completed.

The Jamaican, who has previously represented the Kings XI Punjab and Pune Warriors in the IPL, played in one match for the West Indies on their way to a second World Twenty20 title in India earlier this month.
