A pick of the action from day three of the fifth and final Ashes Test at The Oval.

After a disastrous last session on day two in which they lost seven wickets, England's backs were against the wall at the Oval when play resumed on Saturday.

The hosts, who have already secured the 2015 Ashes, were bowled out for 149 on Saturday morning despite a battling ninth-wicket stand of 57 between Moeen Ali and Mark Wood.

With the weather forecast looking dodgy for Sunday and Monday, Michael Clarke had little hesitation enforcing the follow-on in his final Test as Australia skipper.

So could England demonstrate far greater resolve second time around to frustrate the tourists' bid for a belated lift?

The skipper Alastair Cook led from the from with a battling fifty but the same application was lacking from the England top order as Adam Lyth (10), Ian Bell (13) and Joe Root (11) all fell cheaply before tea.

Nathan Lyon then accounted for Jonny Bairstow (26) and Ben Stokes for a duck in the same over shortly after the break. Jos Buttler battled but England suffered a late blow when Cook fell to leave the home side on 203-6, still 129 in arrears.
