Alastair Cook has steered England to Ashes glory for the second time on home soil.
A win in the first Test at Cardiff was followed by a 405-run capitulation at Lord's, before two sensational victories followed inside three days at Edgbaston and Trent Bridge to secure the urn.
Cook's second success comes just two years after his first in 2013, and serves as redemption for the 5-0 hammering he suffered as skipper in the last series down under.
