Australia debutant Mitchell Swepson took a cool, one-handed catch in the dugout during the T20 against England at Edgbaston.

Australia debutant Mitchell Swepson pulled off a superb one-handed catch at Edgbaston - in the dugout, to save the Pod!

Leg-spinner Swepson - who bagged the wickets of Jos Buttler and Eoin Morgan during England's innings in the one-off Twenty20 international - stuck out his right hand to catch the ball in the Australia dugout after team-mate Ashton Agar had belted Adil Rashid over long-on for six.

Not only was it an impressive grab but also a damage-saving one, with the delivery seemingly arrowing in on the Sky Sports Pod, where Ian Ward and Nasser Hussain were commentating at the time.

It was the second one-handed blinder Australia pulled off on the evening, with Marcus Stoinis dismissing Alex Hales off his own bowling after the England man had slapped a slower-ball bouncer back towards him.

Watch how Alex Hales was brilliantly caught and bowled by Marcus Stoinis in Birmingham.

It was another disappointing night for the tourists, though, as, despite skipper Aaron Finch's 84 from 41 balls, they lost by 28 runs - only able to muster 193 all out in reply to England's 221-5.

The statistics make grim reading for Australia - six games against England this summer, six defeats!
