Both Curran and Overton had been in the England Lions squad for the Tri-Series against India A and West Indies A, which starts on Friday.

The pair will provide additional fast-bowling options, with Ben Stokes and Chris Woakes both absent for the remainder of this month.

Left-arm seamer Curran earned a call-up to England's Test side earlier this month, claiming his maiden Test wicket against Pakistan at Headingley.

Overton made his Test debut during the Ashes series defeat in Australia, but fractured his rib in the third Test, before later returning for the ODI series in New Zealand.
