James Anderson and Ben Stokes have been recalled to England's squad for the second Test with Pakistan at Old Trafford.
Lancashire seamer Anderson and Durham all-rounder Stokes missed the first Test at Lord's, which Pakistan won by 75 runs, with shoulder and knee injuries respectively.
Both players have proven their four-day fitness in a Specsavers County Championship Division One game between their respective counties at Southport.
Anderson took 3-58 in 22 overs during Durham's first innings while Stokes made his bowling return in the game and grabbed his first wicket on Monday - he had been playing as a specialist batsman for the last three weeks.
Stokes ended with figures of 3-50, and he told Sky Sports: "The back is fine and the knee is fine and that is the main thing.
"It's the first game back and I have got through it and it's good to know from a confidence point of view that I can run in and bowl overs, and not feel restricted at all.
"It's nice that the rehab period is over and that I have done enough to warrant being back in the squad. Playing for England is very special and hopefully I can do a job.
"After losing the first game, the second Test becomes very vital especially with it being a four-match series. It was a game of cricket where we lost it in a day really."
Yorkshire leg-spinner Adil Rashid is also named in the 14-man squad which includes all 11 players involved in the first Test, but there is no place for seamer Toby Roland-Jones.
Nottinghamshire seamer Jake Ball made his Test debut at Lord's but could find himself battling it out with Steven Finn for a place, although Ball reported tightness in his thigh after the game.
Rashid could challenge Moeen Ali for a place in England's middle order, although there is also a chance England could field two spinners.
