Sydney Thunder duo Cameron Bancroft and Daniel Sams are "conscious and talking" but "demonstrating symptoms of concussion" after colliding with each other in the Big Bash League.
The incident happened during a game against Perth Scorchers at Optus Stadium while the pair were running towards each other attempting to take a catch and they fell to the floor after colliding.
Bancroft was escorted off the field with the medical team while Sams was carried off on a stretcher.

"Both players are conscious and talking, demonstrating symptoms of concussion and have possible fractures," Thunder said on X.
"Both have been transported to hospital for assessment."
They were replaced by Ollie Davies and Hugh Weibgen in a game Thunder won by four wickets.
