Watch the closing stages of the Women's T20 World Cup live on Sky Sports, with one of South Africa, West Indies and New Zealand to lift the trophy in Dubai on Sunday.

Reigning champions Australia saw their hopes of a fourth title in a row and seventh overall ended by South Africa in the first semi-final as the Proteas romped to an eight-wicket win for their first victory over the Southern Stars in World Cups.

Laura Wolvaardt's side will meet New Zealand or West Indies in the showpiece game this weekend, with their opponents to be determined in Friday's second semi-final in Sharjah, live on Sky Sports Cricket from 3pm.

Sunday's final will also begin at 3pm.

What happened to England?

England were dumped out in the group stage following a six-wicket loss to a sensational West Indies.

West Indies, chasing 142 to progress to the semi-finals, saw captain Hayley Matthews strike 50 off 38 balls in her 100th T20I and Qiana Joseph smoke 52 off 38 as the pair put on 104 for the first wicket.

Highlights from Dubai as England were eliminated from the Women's T20 World Cup after falling to a six-wicket loss at the hands of West Indies

Deandra Dottin (27 from 19) and Aaliyah Alleyne (6no from 4) then stayed calm under pressure - Alleyne hitting the winning runs.
