Uncapped teenage bowler Katie George took an exceptional hat-trick on her first England Women's appearance in a simple victory over India A ahead of the upcoming T20 Tri-series.

The 18-year-old is one of three uncapped players to travel to India, alongside all-rounder Alice Davidson-Richards and batter Bryony Smith, and recently earned a rookie contract from the England and Wales Cricket Board.

George, who plays for Southern Vipers in the Kia Super League, ripped through the host side's the top order and finished with figures of 4-6 from just three overs, as India A struggled to just 85-9 from their 20 overs.

England achieved their target of 86 in only 8.3 overs, as opener Tammy Beaumont made 31 off 18 balls before falling and Danni Wyatt smashed nine boundaries as she retired out having hit 46 off 25 balls.

Having been allowed to bat their full allotment of 20 overs, England amassed an impressive 210-4, with Nat Sciver making a half-century off 35 balls before retiring as Davidson-Richards hit the only six of the match as she finished unbeaten on 26 from 13 balls, having earlier taken 1-14 with the ball.

In England's first T20 match against the same opposition earlier in the day, uncapped Smith opened the batting and struck nine boundaries as she made a half-century off 37 balls before being stumped off Radha Yadav.

Captain Heather Knight and Beaumont - coming in a three - also hit 50's as England finished on 176-4 from their 20 overs.
