Toby Roland-Jones finished with match figures of 8-129 on debut as England romped to a 239-run win over South Africa, at the Oval.
Roland-Jones took two wickets in as many balls, sending back Temba Bavuma and Vernon Philander, to all but end South Africa's resistance on day five before Moeen Ali sealed matters with a hat-trick in the afternoon session on day five - the Proteas closing on 252 all out.
"That was the perfect way to finish this 100th Test match at The Oval," said Sky Sports commentator Shaun Pollock, despite seeing his compatriots slip to a 2-1 series deficit.
Opener Dean Elgar battled through the pain of a finger injury to strike a determined 136 at the top of the order - his eighth Test century - but became the first victim in Ali's salvo when he edged to slip, Kagiso Rabada and Morne Morkel following in quick succession.
