Northamptonshire batsman Ben Duckett has been awarded the Players' Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards by the Professional Cricketers' Association.
Duckett becomes the first player in the 47-year history of the awards to claim both titles, following a remarkable season for the County Championship Division Two side.
The 21-year-old, who recently earned a call up to England's squad for the upcoming tour of Bangladesh, takes the top award ahead of fellow nominees Jeetan Patel, Keaton Jennings and the retiring Graham Napier.
He also saw off competition from Haseeb Hameed, Daniel Bell-Drummond and Sam Curran to claim the Young Player award, after scoring 2,706 runs across all formats this season.
"I can't keep the smile off my face," said Duckett, who was also named young player of the year by the Cricket Writers' Club on Tuesday.
"I wasn't expecting this. To be nominated for both awards was an honour in itself - so to win them both is something very special.
"I got my England call-ups, and so many other things have happened. If someone had said at the start of the season that all this would happen I wouldn't have believed it.
"What makes the PCA awards so special is that you are voted for by your peers - people you play against vote for you, and that means a lot to me.
"Most of the guys who have won the awards in the past have played for England or in international cricket so to follow them is a very great honour."
Meanwhile, Tammy Beaumont has picked up the Women's Player of the Summer award ahead of England team-mates Nat Sciver and Lauren Winfield.
Former England Test opener Marcus Trescothick also received the PCA's Special Merit Award for both his career on the field and his campaign to increase awareness on mental health issues.
