Woakes, Buttler and Plunkett earn England dramatic Trent Bridge tie

Liam Plunkett may have smashed a match-tying, last-ball six for England in the first ODI, but Chris Woakes and Jos Buttler also played their part in the side's Trent Bridge thriller against Sri Lanka.
Woakes (95no) and Buttler (93) shared a seventh-wicket stand of 138 to keep the hosts in contention after they had slumped to 30-4 and 82-6.
The opening match of the five-game series had plenty of notable moments, though, including two stunning catches, one from England's Jason Roy and another from Sri Lanka's Dasun Shanaka.
Roy leapt full length to pouch Kusal Perera at backward point, while Shanaka somehow plucked a ball Buttler had lashed towards the long-off boundary out of the sky.
Batting wise, however, it wasn't just the knocks of Plunkett, Woakes and Buttler which caught the eye, with Sri Lanka's Seekkuge Prasanna cracking a pulsating 59 from 28 balls.
The second ODI at Edgbaston, which comes your way live on Sky Sports 2 from 1.30pm on Friday, has a lot to live up to!
