James Vince smashed a 50-over career best of 190 - a timely reminder to the England selectors of his talent - as Hampshire beat Gloucestershire by 71 runs on DLS to make it four wins out of four in the Royal London One-Day Cup.

Vince, part of an England squad selected for an ODI against Ireland next Friday and a T20 international against Pakistan two days later, helped Hampshire post 331-8 at The Ageas Bowl.

The batsman crunched 15 fours and five sixes in his stunning 154-ball knock and had the chance to bring up a maiden List A double-ton with two balls to go, only to perish to Ryan Higgins' penultimate delivery.

Hampshire had been struggling at 65-4 - Chris Liddle (4-66) with three early strikes - but Vince and Liam Dawson (73) put on 186 for the fifth wicket.

Gloucestershire, set a revised 318 from 47 overs in reply following a brief rain delay between innings, were dismissed for 246, Higgins top-scoring with 45.

Yorkshire and Derbyshire played out a thrilling tie at Headingley as visiting skipper Billy Godleman scored a third straight One-Day Cup ton.

Godleman thumped 107 from 62 deliveries and Leus du Plooy cracked 75 from 37 as Derbyshire pursued a revised 225 from 22 overs, but they finished on 224-3 after only managing a bye last ball.

David Willey (72no from 49 balls), Tom Kohler-Cadmore (79) and Adam Lyth (78) earlier propelled Yorkshire to 308-2 from 40 overs before rain.

The tie is Yorkshire's second of the season, having recorded the same result against Warwickshire atr Edgbaston earlier in the competition.

Nottinghamshire, meanwhile, smashed 433-7 against Leicestershire en route to an 87-run DLS win at Trent Bridge.

Ben Duckett led the way with 86 from 61 balls, while skipper Steven Mullaney (81 off 41), Jake Libby (66 off 52), Chris Nash (65 off 53), Joe Clarke (55 off 44) and Tom Moores (50 off 32) also struck half centuries.

Leicestershire were 152-2 when rain fell and were then set a revised 347 from 37 overs for victory but were bowled out for 259 in 33.2 after tumbling from 210-3.

England will have been boosted by the form of all-rounder Chris Woakes, who hit a 45-ball 50 for Warwickshire in their 244-8 against Durham - Tim Ambrose (62) and Sam Hain (50) also starring - before getting through 7.4 overs.

However, the struggling Bears ended up on the losing side, with Durham reaching their revised target of 236 in 36 overs with 14 balls to spare for a third win in four - Alex Lees (78no), Graham Clark (66) and Gareth Harte (51no) impressing with the bat.

Somerset made it four wins from four to stay top of the South Group, winning a heavily rain-affected match against Essex by 36 runs (DLS) at Taunton.

Initially a reduced to 39 overs a side, Peter Trego smashed 141 off 101 balls, and Azhar Ali 110 off 93, as Somerset amassed 353-5. Essex never came close to chasing that down, even less so when the target became 191 off 17 overs after further rain, and they finished up 154-6.

Hamish Rutherford struck 126 as Worcesteshire defeated Northamptonshire by 20 runs at The County Ground - Northants bowled out for 234 in reply to the Rapids' 254-9.
