David Haye had his first session with Shane McGuigan in Carl Frampton's changing room and says he has never felt sharper

David Haye insists he's in the best shape of his career ahead of his grudge fight with Tony Bellew.

The Londoner takes on his domestic rival at heavyweight at The O2, on March 4, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Haye has been preparing in Miami for the bout and is now confident that he will be able to step up his preparations with trainer Shane McGuigan in the coming weeks.

McGuigan has been in Las Vegas with Carl Frampton for his rematch with Leo Santa Cruz, which the Northern Ireland fighter lost on points, and despite Bellew questioning his decision to stay away until Friday night, Haye used Frampton's fight night changing room to get a session with his coach in.

"I am doing great," Haye said sat ringside at Frampton's clash with Santa Cruz.

"I had my first session with Shane McGuigan today in the changing room, in Carl Frampton's changing room.

"I got in late last night. We went to dinner last night, had a good chat, and talked about the tactics, what we are going to do, today did our first session. It went amazingly well.
