We have seen some blockbusters in 2016 but we have asked our experts to pick out their three dream fights for the New Year.
David Coldwell might already have Tony Bellew taking on David Haye but wants to see Deontay Wilder against Britain's heavyweight champion, while we wait for the return of Tyson Fury...
I'm sure everyone else has got this on their list, but this is a fight we need to see. Technically 'Canelo' has got variety and fantastic shot selection and a great boxing brain, whereas 'Triple G' is one of the most exciting boxers in the world right now.
Yes, he's got to sort out Daniel Jacobs first and he's good, but him against Canelo is the sort of test we all want to see. It's the sort of fight that puts them both out there, the sort they both need. I am a fan, like the rest of you, and if this does get made and I've got no commitments workwise, I will be off to the States to see this as a fan. It has to happen.
In terms of a straight match-up, I want to see this. Forget about it being a heavyweight unification - or should be - it is just a really exciting fight between two who can seriously punch. Joshua is getting better every fight, smoother and less mechanical, but him against Wilder would be a shoot-out.
Wilder will be the wild gun shooter and Joshua the assassin, calmer, smarter, cleverer. And whoever lands wins. But it just edges out the thought of Joshua-Fury. No matter how good Joshua is, there will always be a question until he fight Fury. He could beat Wladimir Klitschko but Fury is the one who did that, who went out to Germany and took him apart mentally and totally outdid him. With him it might not be the most exciting fight, but don't forget that the unification fight coming up is all down to Tyson Fury.
I think we're closer than we've ever been. There is genuine beef there, not manufactured, and it has been going on for years and years, so I am like everyone else, I want to see them sort it out. I don't want it to be like Ricky Hatton-Junior Witter and wonder who would've won, lets see who wins this.
You've got Khan's foot and hand speed - early on especially - and Kell's punch precision and the fact he can take a shot, so it can't be anything other than exciting. The whole country will be talking about it.
