Errol Spence Jr has arrived in Britain for IBF title fight with Kell Brook on May 27, live on Sky Sports Box Office

Errol Spence Jr says he is the "best opponent" of Kell Brook's career and plans to ruin the IBF champion's hopes of a triumphant homecoming fight.

The unbeaten American challenger has arrived in Britain ahead of his IBF welterweight title clash with Brook on May 27, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Brook defeated one of America's top welterweights in Shawn Porter on US soil to claim the IBF belt in 2014, while he lost his unbeaten record in a brave battle with middleweight No 1 Gennady Golovkin last September.

But Spence Jr believes he is a cut above all of Brook's past opponents and expects to outshine the Sheffield man in front of his large support at Bramall Lane.

"I'm going to be a very tough opponent," Spence Jr told Sky Sports. "I'm coming out with the win, so I feel like I'm going to be his best opponent.

"The venue I hear is 30,000 and the fans are lively, they are hardcore boxing fans, and I feel like it's going to be a great fight, great environment, and I can't wait to be under those bright lights."

Spence Jr resisted the opportunity to send a warning to Brook, simply stating that he is ready to fulfil a long-term ambition.
