Jamie Cox can remain on course for a major title fight when he faces Lewis Taylor on the undercard of Kell Brook-Errol Spence Jr.
The unbeaten 30-year-old super-middleweight signed a promotional deal with Eddie Hearn last month and will make his debut against Taylor at Bramall Lane on May 27, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
Cox is already the mandatory challenger to British champion Rocky Fielding and can also boost his world rankings if he defeats Taylor to claim the WBA Inter-Continental title in Sheffield.
"My profile will go through the roof with Matchroom and it's really exciting," said Cox, who has been sparring with Brook this week. "The world of boxing has all eyes on the UK right now.
"We've just put on the biggest show in the world at Wembley stadium and that was down to Eddie. The future is very exciting and I've got the platform to be part of something very big."
At the top of an exciting bill, Brook defends his IBF welterweight belt against highly rated mandatory challenger Spence Jr.
George Groves is also attempting to a win a world super-middleweight title at the fourth attempt when he battles Fedor Chudinov for the vacant WBA 'super' belt, while David Allen takes on Lenroy Thomas for the vacant Commonwealth heavyweight title.
