Martin Murray racked up his third straight win as a super-middleweight after a one-sided stoppage victory over Jose Miguel Torres.
The St Helens man has stepped up a division in search of another world title shot and he maintained his rise up the rankings after flooring the Colombian seven times on the way to victory in the fifth round at the First Direct Arena in Leeds.
It did not take long for Murray to make his mark as he unloaded a big left hand in the opening round which sent Torres sliding down by the ropes.
The South American sunk to the canvas on two more occasions in the second round, both times after short right hands, while he was bundled to the floor again in the third.
Murray stuck to the task, despite his opponent's lack of ambition, and Torres touched down twice more during the fourth round.
Referee Howard Foster had seen enough by the fifth and waved it off after Torres was knocked down for a seventh time.
"I was hoping I would get him out of there sooner," Murray told Sky Sports.
"It was quite hard to pin him down, but I knew if I stuck to the game plan I would get him out of there."
