Daniel Jacobs has set his sights on a rematch with Gennady Golovkin but is refusing to overlook unbeaten Maciej Sulecki.
The American takes on Sulecki in a WBA final eliminator this Sunday morning, live on Sky Sports, with the winner becoming mandatory challenger for middleweight kingpin Golovkin.
'Miracle Man' Jacobs lost a controversial unanimous decision when he took on the feared Kazakh over a year ago and, if victorious against Poland's Sulecki, he is determined to prove he is the best 160lb fighter on the planet.
"Sulecki is a tough guy who will come and bring it, he's undefeated and has highlights on his records," Jacobs began, speaking exclusively to Sky Sports.
"I look forward to him coming to fight, we both have the opportunity, if we win impressively and become the WBA mandatory challenger, to take on Golovkin so we will be like two bulls attacking each other.
"I truly believe that I won the fight with 'GGG' but the judges saw it differently. This is boxing and I know this is what you sign up for when you first lace up the gloves.
"I would come forward and be the aggressor more in a rematch. The fact we nullified him down to a Golovkin we hadn't seen before and it was me who landed more power shots when he is known as the devastating puncher says a lot.
"I would tune things differently but be the same mentally. I proved I do belong and I will take it in my hands a little more if we go for a second time."
Jacobs is delighted to be returning to his Brooklyn hometown to fight and is expecting a fervent atmosphere when the first bell sounds this weekend.
"I'm so happy with this next fight because I believe Sulecki will come to fight and it takes two to tango," the 31-year-old continued.
"He will have his Polish fans there and I'll have my fans so it will be an unbelievable atmosphere.
"I am the best middleweight in the world and it's now up to me to prove it. I want to put on a show in my city.
"We'll see if he [Sulecki] can take my shots but if not, it's going to be a good night for Brooklyn."
Watch Daniel Jacobs against Maciej Sulecki, Katie Taylor's unification clash against Victoria Noelia Bustos, and Jarrell Miller versus Johann Duhaupas at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn, on Sunday at 2am, on Sky Sports Action.
