Paulie Malignaggi believes Anthony Joshua could fight Deontay Wilder multiple times...
I would love to see the fight this year. It's a situation where you could get two fights, maybe three, like a Holyfield-Bowe trilogy. It would really be something.
If you're going to get that, you have to start now because even the Holyfield-Bowe trilogy took years.
If you're going to have a long rivalry between these two, you probably want to get the first one out of the way this year. Then maybe there will be a second and a third in years to come.
I would love to see it next. It's hard for me to pick a favourite.
I see tactical things that Wilder has an advantage with, and I see tactical things that Joshua has an advantage with.
Of course, if they land with power, the other one is going to sleep.
At this point, Wilder hits harder. It's two fights in a row that Joshua could have gone the distance - Carlos Takam was stopped early. But it doesn't matter - if Joshua hits you on the chin, you're going to sleep.
Whoever hits harder doesn't really matter because if either land on the chin with a good shot, then the threat to end the fight is there.
It's about who will take advantage of the other's faults. They both have faults that play into the other one's strengths.
Both of these guys lick their chops. They know about each other.
There is a subtle respect - they want to knock each other out and, of course, competition breeds bad blood.
Each guy knows the other is very dangerous.
