Jarrell Miller says he is following in the footsteps of Mike Tyson, Riddick Bowe and Shannon Briggs as Brooklyn's latest "great heavyweight boxer".
The fast-talking New Yorker takes on Mariusz Wach this Sunday morning at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, live on Sky Sports, as he looks to move in on a world title shot.
'Big Baby', unbeaten in 20 fights, who has been vocal in calling out and mocking Britain's Anthony Joshua, has vowed to continue Brooklyn's fine pedigree in the premier division.
"You've seen Riddick Bowe, you've seen Mike Tyson, you've seen Shannon Briggs. I'm next in line," the 29-year-old exclusively told Sky Sports.
"If you know about Brooklyn, you know that Brooklyn has a pedigree, the homestead for some of the world's greatest heavyweight boxers.
"If you like 'Big Baby' trust me, you're going to like him after this fight, I'm coming for what's mine. Just tune in as I go for my 18th knockout against Mariusz booboo ugly Wach."
Miller displayed notable strength and power in beating Gerald Washington in his last outing and the American has vowed to be even better against Wach.
"Well, I'm planning on definitely getting the stoppage", the 29-year-old said. "I don't think he is ready for the pressure or kind of size I bring to the table, and the amount of punches I can hit him with.
"I just do what I do best, throw a lot of punches, throw hard shots and come forward.
"I'll definitely be a lot sharper, you're going to see a lot more head movement, a lot more footwork. But we're going to have fists in his face the whole time. We're not going to give him a second to breathe."
Watch Jarrell Miller against Marius Wach on a New York bill that also includes Daniel Jacobs versus Luis Arias, along with Conor Benn's US debut from 3am this Sunday, live on Sky Sports Action and Sky Sports Main Event.
