Ted Cheeseman kept his momentum going by stopping brave late call-up Aristides Quintero with a spectacular sixth-round knockout.
The Bermondsey blaster moved to 11-0-KO8 with a brutal finish at York Hall, a smart right uppercut and a follow-up left breaking the guard before a hammering straight right sending the Spanish-based Panamanian to the floor and unable to beat the count.
Cheeseman now has his sights set firmly on adding the British super-welterweight title to the English version he won in July and with Quinter a late call-up, the 22-year-old passed another test in style.
Cheeseman is never in a dull fight and he again had the home of British boxing buzzing with another non-stop scrap, the Londoner lighting the touch paper in the opening exchange.
The first two rounds saw him land plenty of single shots but also rattle off some slick combinations but even if Quintero's responses were nowhere near as sharp, he was always in it.
But the next couple of rounds saw Cheeseman find more and more gaps, his uppercuts and his fast hands showing the gulf in class, before finally proving too much for Quintero to handle.
Cheeseman admits he has been working on "everything" with trainer Tony Sims and is more than happy to take an eliminator to challenge for the British super-welterweight title, currently held by Liam Williams.
"I'm not the type to be scared of anyone, when Tony thinks I am ready, and Eddie [Hearn] and Charlie [Sims] think I am ready," he told Sky Sports.
"Whoever they put in front of me I'd never say no."
