The 26-year-old, unbeaten in 10 fights, challenges Cunningham in a headline bout at London's York Hall as part of the latest edition of the NXTGEN series, live on Sky Sports.

The featherweight admits that this will be his toughest test to date, but it is a challenge that 'Bomber' has been calling for and one where he believes he can show his true worth.

"Taking this fight was an easy decision for me," Bellotti began. "I told my promoter that I just want titles and will have whatever he offers me.

"He came back with the Commonwealth opportunity and it's a perfect one for me.

"Cunningham has 23 wins from 26 fights and won the belt last time out so this is a big step up for me, but one I look forward to.

A win on Friday takes me up another level. I still have a lot of learning to do, but soon I'll be knocking on the door of the divisions' top guys.

"He has never been stopped and has been the distance with a lot of good fighters including Kal Yafai, but as always, I plan to get the stoppage.

"I have a lot to prove in this fight, that I have the fitness to go the distance that I can face a southpaw and I'm sure I will thrive on the night and entertain the fans."

Headlining at the iconic York Hall is an honour for the Watford featherweight and Bellotti believes that victory will push him on to higher heights.

"York Hall is one of my favourite venues, I won my ABA amateur title there and also my British eliminator in the pros - the atmosphere is always unbelievable.

"I've sold loads of tickets for this one and you can't get better than topping the bill, now I just want to give everyone a great fight.

"The nerves will no doubt be there, but I'm sure I'll thrive on the night.

"A win on Friday takes me up another level, but I don't get ahead of myself, I still have a lot of learning to do. Soon though, I'll be knocking on the door of the division's top guys."
