Sor Rungvisai vs Gonzalez II: Kal Yafai shares his predictions of the super-flyweight spectacular

Kal Yafai

Kal Yafai gives his predictions as his super-flyweight division takes the spotlight this Sunday morning, live on Sky Sports, with an incredible trio of fights.

Live Fight Night International

WBA champion Yafai will be an eagle-eyed spectator as five of the division's very best, the Brit's closest rivals, look set to deliver nothing short of fireworks and toe-to-toe action, so how does he see fight night going?

Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (WBC) vs Roman Gonzalez II

I think Gonzalez will be more cagey than usual and won't be going at him 100mph after the first fight. People are saying he's not big or strong enough for this division but his skill and experience will get him through.

Sor Rungvisai was tough and hard to hurt and he was happy to stand there and have a fight. Gonzalez will expect that but his class will see him win on points. He'll want to stop him because of his brilliant KO ratio, but this is all about winning.

Juan Francisco Estrada vs Carlos Cuadras

This could be the one that steals the show. Estrada has hand problems so he struggles to build momentum but I still give him the edge here.

Tale of the Tape - Juan Francisco Estrada v Carlos Cuadras

Cuadras looked good against David Carmona last time out but Estrada is up at super-fly and if the hands hold, he will take it on points. I am expecting a Mexican war though, I really am.

Naoya Inoue (WBO) vs Antonio Nieves

I think this could be the most explosive and one-sided fight of the night. Inoue is a great all-rounder, he can punch, he's quick, he's a good counter-puncher, good on the front foot, but he carries even more power than Gonzalez.

Inoue and Gonzalez are up there with each other but Nieves hasn't boxed at this level so it will be Inoue's showcase. I'll be surprised if he doesn't blow him away, inside three or four rounds.
