Conor McGregor has consistently needled Floyd Mayweather about his tax problems throughout their press tour and 'Money' answered back in New York by showering the Irishman in dollar bills.
On the third stop of the four-day, four-city blitz to promote their August 26 Las Vegas clash, the witty barbs that characterised their exchanges Los Angeles and Toronto were replaced by what appeared to be real venom.
Mayweather was largely on the back foot in Toronto as McGregor landed the more telling blows in their verbal sparring.
But he upped the ante in Brooklyn as he reminded McGregor who was the "nine-figure fighter" and derided him for answering to Dana White.
After a little back-and-forth with the crowd, he showered McGregor with handfuls of dollar bills from his backpack as the Irishman sat stony-faced with the cash fluttering around him.
"They're all ones!" McGregor then retorted.
"Because that's all you're worth," Mayweather replied.
The final leg of the tour takes place in Wembley's SSE Arena on Friday evening.
