Marcus 'Sweet MNM' Morrison has blasted his way up the middleweight rankings and will be targeting another knockout on the Jorge Linares-Anthony Crolla bill.
The 24-year-old Mancunian is one of the most exciting talents in British boxing and will be displaying his punching power on the undercard of Crolla's rematch with Linares this Saturday, live on Sky Sports.
Morrison has already racked up 10 knockouts in 14 victories and will be targeting another destructive win over Jason Welborn at the Manchester Arena.
Six of Morrison's stoppages have come within the first round as opponents have struggled to cope with his blurring speed and heavy hands.
Morrison is part of a packed bill, which will see Brian Rose take on Jack Arnfield in a battle of Blackpool, while Martin J Ward defends his British super-featherweight title against Maxi Hughes.
Katie Taylor returns to action in her fourth professional fight and former Team GB star Lawrence Okolie makes his debut in the paid ranks.
