Deontay Wilder can showcase his explosive knockout power when he defends his WBC heavyweight title against Gerald Washington, live on Sky Sports.
'The Bronze Bomber', who is expected to become a future opponent for IBF champion Anthony Joshua, will be hoping to extend his destructive record when he faces fellow American Washington in Birmingham, Alabama on February 25.
Joshua has admitted he will be keeping a close eye on his rival as he prepares for his own world title fight against Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley Stadium on April 29, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
"The level of commitment Sky are showing to boxing, both in Great Britain and internationally, is fantastic," Joshua told Sky Sports. "It's bringing huge global fights to the UK shores and gives the fans the access they want to massive fights.
"It certainly gives me something to watch on Saturday night."
Wilder has been sidelined by the injuries he suffered in his stoppage win over Chris Arreola in July, but is hoping to announce his return with another entertaining victory.
"He's a tall heavyweight with a good jab and the kind of test that I need coming back from surgery on my bicep muscle and my right hand," said Wilder.
"I'm looking forward to putting on a good show for all my fans.''
But the unbeaten Washington, with 12 knockouts in 18 victories, has promised to pull off a stunning upset win over Wilder.
"I just want to step to him, hurt him, and eventually wear him down and take him out," said the 34-year-old Californian. "I don't want to leave it in the hands of the judges."
Wilder's latest title defence will continue a packed night of live action on Sky Sports, with Gavin McDonnell topping a busy Hull bill when he battles Mexican Rey Vargas for the vacant WBC super-bantamweight title.
Luke Campbell will continue his pursuit of a world title fight on the same card, while fellow Hull fighter Tommy Coyle and heavyweight David Allen are also back in action.
