Mikey Garcia produced an unbelievable knockout to take the WBC lightweight title away from Dejan Zlaticanin.

The hard-hitting Californian went into their Las Vegas showdown unbeaten, carrying a devastating 83 per cent knockout ration - and left the ring with those intact, and a third world title belt round his waste.

Zlaticanin, the champion, was expected to pose Garcia problems but before the end of the third round, it was all over.

Mikey Garcia produced a third-round KO to become a three-weight world champion

Garcia's precision and power left the Montenegrin fighter out cold but thankfully the former champion eventually got to his feet to embrace the new champion.

It means 'Mikey' has won world titles at three weights and proved he can carry his power up the weight classes, with 30 of his 36 victories coming inside the distance.
