Tony Bellew is still angered by David Haye’s press conference punch and will not let it go unless he gets an apology this week.

The 34-year-old, who will face Haye at London's O2 Arena on March 4, live on Sky Sports Box Office, took a shot from the 'Hayemaker' when the rivals clashed at the press conference to announce the fight.

The pair will meet face-to-face once again this week as they film 'The Gloves Are Off' and Everton fan Bellew, who described Haye as a "coward", insisted that he will only let it go if he gets an apology from his rival.

Speaking to World Boxing News, he said: "We will come face to face this week so we will see what happens this time, but he's basically a coward for throwing a punch at me without gloves on.

"I won't let it go unless he apologises as he knows he was bang out of order!

Bellew is happy to be training at home while Haye prepares for their fight on March 4 in the warmer climes of Miami

"He didn't want to hear the truth and that's why he got so close that I needed to push him. Soon enough he will have to listen to me though."

Bellew is the current WBC cruiserweight world champion, but victory will leave the door open for an extended stay in the top division where the likes of Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder lie in wait.
