Shawn Porter has offered former sparring partner Manny Pacquiao a final chance at a major fight before the eight-division world champion retires.
Pacquiao, 38, was expected to retire last April after beating Timothy Bradley, but swiftly pulled a U-turn to beat Jessie Vargas for the WBO welterweight title.
Former IBF champion Porter wants Pacquiao to extend his 67-fight career, exclusively telling Sky Sports: "Definitely, we've seen the history where the sparring partner turns into the world champion, then takes on the guy that he was preparing for big fights.
"Outside of that, two great athletes in the ring and giving their all is what you would see between me and Manny. Anytime, any place.
"It's a great fight, that I would win."
Pacquiao has been linked with a fight against Australia's Jeff Horn, with the WBO contender telling Sky Sports last week: "I think I've got the skills to upset him."
Porter, who lost his world title to Kell Brook in 2014, is surprised at the mention of Pacquiao versus Horn, saying: "Yes I was, especially because I heard he would be fighting Terence Crawford.
"I expected Manny to be completely done after his fight with Timothy Bradley but he's come back for another. People want to see him again against a higher calibre fighter after he fought Jessie Vargas, but this next guy is a no-name to a lot of us.
"It's interesting to see him fight this guy. It seems to me that he may be tuning up for something big."
Shawn Porter and Jeff Horn are both exclusively featured in this week's Toe 2 Toe podcast.
