I hear Pacquiao still looked decent but the one I'd like him to fight next is... Kell Brook. Obviously Gennady Golovkin is a different weight and a different fighter but as long as he can get down to welterweight again, I'd love to see Kell fight Pacquiao. We all know 'Pac Man' doesn't hit as hard as Golovkin but it would be great to see if Kell could negate the speed and angled shots he still carries and then get his own shots off.

I was really impressed with Kell against Golovkin. He showed he's got a great chin and carrying that injury from the second round was admirable to say the least. And against someone like Pacquiao, you know Kell would be happy to stand there and have a fight. It would be unbelievable to have Manny Pacquiao fighting over here, as well. The boxing fans here really do appreciate quality fighters - as they did for Golovkin - so to have Pacquiao here, with a Brit in the opposite corner, would be a massive, massive spectacle.
It could still happen, especially if Pacquiao doesn't fancy facing either of them, but 'could' is as far as I would go. If they are both free in the summer we could - and I say could - see it happen. Both Kell and Amir want big fights and deserve big fights on the back of who they took on last time out and Pacquiao aside, a fight between those two would make financial sense.
I don't think it's that much out of the equation. There is a burning dislike between each other and it could well be the one thing that stops it happening because neither wants to see the other have a big pay-day! I hope that Pacquiao goes for someone else and Khan and Brook has to happen, but I've got to be honest, I wouldn't put my house on those two getting in the same ring.
I understand people saying David Price didn't deserve a shot but you could've said it about AJ for the IBF. He hadn't worked his way through the rankings to become the mandatory challenger and people get title shots all the time, so I would have loved to have seen Pricey get it. No one would begrudge him getting it either, after what he's been through with those three defeats.
I was surprised to see Lucas Browne get Shannon Briggs for the WBA regular so if they can't come to a deal, then I think it'd be ideal for Price. If they do sort it out, then it would be even better to fight the winner. Rankings are always a problem but you can always jump the queue so while Joshua is dealing with Molina, why not jump into the IBF route too? Price is good enough and even if there are question marks against his chin, it doesn't mean he can't beat top level fighters and win a world title.
No. Nowhere near enough. Down the years the smaller guys don't get as much credit as the bigger guys and to make it even harder, McDonnell has pretty much done it on the road. Those two wins over Tomoki Kameda out in America were outstanding, they really were, and although they were on Sky Sports, it doesn't quite give you the same coverage as fighting at home.
Also don't forget McDonnell was stripped by the IBF as well and despite that and fighting away, his momentum is growing and growing. Dave Coldwell has brought him on leaps and bounds and I always look forward to watching him. On the surface, Jamie isn't a big puncher, so people might think he is beatable but nowadays he is very deceiving and is much better than he looks. We know he can go 12 rounds, we know he boxes at a high-tempo and doesn't stop working and throws 150 punches a round, and that works so well for him. I hope he can get some big-name fights next year, because he really does deserve them.
Does that include Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora? If not, it would have to be Mike Tyson, in the late 1990s - his crazy days. The ear incident with Evander Holyfield, the Lennox Lewis press conference and when he came back, he seemed to be in a mental state that was just uncontrollable - even with Johnny Nelson sat in the middle.
Not many people can out-talk me and even less people scare me, but Tyson scared the living daylights out of me. I would've been that scared, I wouldn't have even said a word to him. Not even hello. It wouldn't have been a very good show but I like my ears.
