Eric Molina believes Anthony Joshua is fully focused on their bout and is not thinking about a potential clash with Wladimir Klitschko.

A mooted fight between IBF heavyweight champion and the Ukrainian fell through recently with 34-year-old Texan Molina now set to challenge for the title in Manchester on December 10, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Should Joshua come through this bout, a potential meeting with Klitschko could still take place next year but Molina does not believe the 27-year-old is looking past their fight, warning him that it would be a mistake to underestimate his next opponent.

Eric Molina insists he doesn't fear Anthony Joshua and believes he can cause a shock when the pair meet on December 10th in Manchester

Speaking on Sky Sports News HQ, Molina said: "I think, from what he gives off in the interviews and the face to face, he seems like he is very focused on December 10. He comes across as a smart champion and I don't see him overlooking me.

"I hope he doesn't because I'm coming; I'm coming with everything that I got and I feel that my whole career, as far as experience, has led me to this day. This is going to be the best Molina the world has ever seen.

"This is heavyweight boxing, I can punch and I can knock anybody out at any given second."

Molina admitted that he has great respect for Joshua, who has already claimed that he will not indulge in trash talk ahead of the bout, but feels the Brit has weaknesses he is capable of exploiting.

"I completely respect him, the way he carries himself as a professional heavyweight and a champion and what he does for his country and all his fans, I like what he stands for," Molina said. "But when that bell rings it is going to happen.

"This is the big fight, the IBF is my second world title fight and I have more experience now. We are confident about this fight.

"AJ is a young, strong champion but there are certain areas we feel we can exploit and we are going to try hit those areas, try to capitalise and come up with the big win."

Molina's first world title shot came against WBC champion Deontay Wilder last year and, despite succumbing to a ninth-round loss, he gained credit for his performance. He says he had a positive game plan for that fight and will approach December 10 with a similar mindset.

Eddie Hearn says if Anthony Joshua doesn’t beat Eric Molina he would lose the chance to fight Wladimir Klitschko in the spring

"We had a game plan going into the Wilder fight and it kind of felt the fight was flowing into our game plan," he said.

"We were able to pick some spots to work with and we were able to put up a good fight against a great champion in Deontay Wilder. We came up a little bit short but we were able to regroup."
