James DeGale's world title unification bout against Badou Jack has finally been slated for January 14 in Las Vegas.
IBF super-middleweight champion DeGale (23-1 KO14) has been locked in negotiations with his WBC counterpart all summer but now knows he can unify the 168lbs division in three months' time.
London's DeGale became a world champion in May 2015 by beating Andre Dirrell, and will now travel to Jack's adopted base of Vegas.
Jack (20-1 KO12), a protégé of Floyd Mayweather, last boxed in April in a draw against Lucian Bute - previously, he earned a split decision over George Groves who, in turn, provided the only blemish on DeGale's pro record.
Also confirmed is Carl Frampton's rematch with Leo Santa Cruz which will take place on January 28 in Vegas - the Northern Irishman won the WBA featherweight title in their first meeting to become a two-weight world champion.
Unbeaten world welterweight champions Keith Thurman and Danny Garcia will unify their WBA and WBC belts, respectively, on March 4 while Adrien Broner will return against Adrian Granados on February 11.
